About the role#
This co-op position is based in the Supply Chain Excellence department. You will work on demand forecasting improvements for a commercial vehicle supplier. This role offers exposure to different business perspectives and provides hands-on experience with supply chain operations.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate product demand against forecasts to improve accuracy.
- Incorporate trends, seasonality, and promotional impacts into forecasting models.
- Support Sales, Inventory, and Operational Planning (SIOP) within SAP.
- Provide company-wide customer demand and forecast information to management.
- Manage aftermarket sales promotions and customer demand pattern changes.
- Assist with Regional Distribution Center planning and conduct data analysis.
- Engage in cross-functional supply chain projects and SAP system improvements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Majors in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Skill in analyzing data and understanding databases.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and function well in a team.
