About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027. It is open exclusively to current or previous HNTB interns. You will work on-site to assist with construction services tasks, gaining experience that builds on your post-secondary studies. This role supports departments and projects through supervised, practical work.
What you'll do#
- Assist with construction office tasks, such as taking meeting minutes and managing tracking logs.
- Attend and observe meetings with internal and external project teams.
- Observe on-site material testing procedures.
- Review construction drawings and provide feedback.
- Conduct basic research and data collection.
- Assist with shop drawing reviews to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Help with special projects as directed.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary construction services program.
- Completion of at least 2 years of a post-secondary construction services program is preferred.
- Relevant majors include Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Logistics, and Operations Management.

This role is on-site and is available in the following locations: Philadelphia, Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, and King of Prussia, PA; Fairmont and Scott Depot, WV; Baltimore, MD; Raleigh and Charlotte, NC; Virginia Beach and Arlington, VA; North Charleston, SC; and Washington, DC. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
