About the role#
This is a full-time co-op position for students pursuing degrees in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering. You will work within one of our Centers of Competency to support advanced product development and testing. This role is based on-site in Avon, Ohio, for the Summer 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research and development for new product concepts.
- Design systems for development and test simulations.
- Validate products and troubleshoot issues in both laboratory and vehicle environments.
- Manage inventory, oversee assembly, and coordinate testing schedules with technicians.
- Develop product applications, perform road tests, and assist with customer demonstrations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Practical experience with mechanical tools, shop equipment, and trucks.
- A functional understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and simple electronic systems.
