About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program focused on Cement operations. You will gain exposure to manufacturing, process improvements, quality, reliability, equipment maintenance, and data management. This role is a full-time, on-site position based in Texas.
What you'll do#
- Promote and ensure a safe working environment as part of your core duties.
- Complete projects that provide a comprehensive view of cement operations.
- Develop technical and soft skills through hands-on work and learning opportunities.
- Share project outcomes with leadership to refine your presentation skills.
- Propose innovative solutions to help improve our processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing, Mining, or Materials Science Engineering.
- At least junior year standing.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5, though 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to solving problems.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience in heavy or manufacturing industries is preferred.
