About the role#
Join our storytelling squad as a Content Marketer. You will help guide our expert voice by reviewing content for brand consistency and style. You will craft a variety of materials, from thought-provoking articles and industry guides to social posts that address real supply chain challenges. Reporting to the Senior Content Manager, you will work across multiple platforms to create long-form deep dives, speeches, and ads. You will also explore how to balance human-led content execution with the use of AI tools.
What you'll do#
- Shape our brand personality by defining the voice and tone used across our channels.
- Act as a brand guardian by reviewing content to ensure it aligns with style guidelines.
- Experiment with new forms of content and distribution to reach target audiences.
- Develop compelling stories across the entire marketing funnel.
- Stay current on industry trends, research, and content performance to fuel new ideas.
- Research and interview internal and external experts to uncover relevant narratives.
- Dive into supply chain technology to identify key themes and pain points.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Journalism, Creative Writing, English, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
- Active listening skills and the ability to synthesize feedback.
- Curiosity and a drive to learn about new topics.
- Ability to solve problems and embrace change.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and business intelligence tools.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
- Ability to use AI to complement writing without letting it replace human insight.
- Strong organizational skills to manage tasks and communicate progress.
- Commitment to maintaining security and confidentiality standards.
Location & details#
- Term: Winter 2027 (8 or 12 months).
- Location: Remote for Canadian residents, or Hybrid in Ottawa (minimum three days per week in-office).
- Compensation: $19.46 - $28.55 per hour, based on skills and experience.
- Status: Full-time.
