About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring a Planning Intern for the Charlotte, North Carolina office. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term. You will work on-site to assist project managers and collaborate with teams across various disciplines.
What you'll do#
- Support the production of transit, mobility, bicycle, and pedestrian plans.
- Assist with public engagement efforts.
- Collect, analyze, and communicate transportation data.
- Create maps and prepare spatial analyses using ArcGIS Pro.
- Solve complex problems and coordinate with municipal and state agencies.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Planning.
- Your program must be accredited in City and Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Transportation Planning, or a related field.
