About the role#
Kids Alive International seeks an Overseas Intern to work directly with vulnerable children in our schools, care centers, and residential homes. This is a full-time, unpaid internship where you will raise funds to cover your expenses. You will serve the ministry by using your specific skills and experiences to support our programs.
What you'll do#
- Tutor children in subjects including English, math, reading, and writing.
- Lead or assist with classes in math, art, music, dance, or preschool.
- Facilitate spiritual activities such as Bible studies, Awana groups, devotions, and Vacation Bible School.
- Participate in intern small group devotions.
- Lead sports clinics for children.
- Assist staff with general facility care, including cooking and cleaning.
- Support ministry projects and administrative office tasks.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You have prior experience working with and leading children.
- You agree with our Statement of Faith and maintain a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
- You participate in a faith community and maintain active relationships with other Christians.
- You are equipped to handle spiritual challenges and sustain personal spiritual growth.
- You are physically fit to adapt to local climates and perform manual labor, including standing and walking for long periods.
- You demonstrate emotional maturity, self-management, and high emotional intelligence.
- You are flexible with your time and schedule.
- You communicate well, work effectively with others, and handle conflict calmly.
- You are willing to live in an under-resourced country and adapt to new cultures, languages, and environments.

- This is a full-time, unpaid internship with rolling start dates.
