About the role#
Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Sacramento, California. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers exposure to project teams working on water resources, water quality, and wastewater treatment. You will receive mentorship and professional development while working on projects for various clients.
What you'll do#
- Prepare technical reports and perform engineering calculations.
- Create pre-construction conditions documentation.
- Develop design plans and specifications for water infrastructure projects.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings.
- Visit project sites to support ongoing work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program for Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
- Completion of at least junior third-year standing in an accredited engineering program.
Location & details#
- Location: Sacramento, California.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
- Compensation: $21 to $26 per hour.
