About the role#
Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Denver. This role supports project teams focused on water resources, water quality, and wastewater treatment. You will gain hands-on experience by working on projects for various clients in the water environment, transportation, and industrial sectors.
What you'll do#
- Perform field work and visit project sites.
- Prepare technical reports and engineering calculations.
- Create design plans and specifications.
- Document pre-construction conditions.
- Participate in and contribute to client meetings.
- Collaborate with team members to manage ongoing projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or Drafting/3D Design.
- Completion of at least sophomore standing in an accredited engineering program.
Location & details#
- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $21 to $26 per hour.
- Benefits: Choice of medical coverage or a $150 monthly stipend, $15 monthly cell phone allowance, 401(k) participation, and accrued paid sick time.
