About the role#
We are hiring a Supply Chain Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Des Moines, Iowa. You will work on-site for 10-12 weeks between May and August. The program includes mentorship, networking, and team-building events.
What you'll do#
- Lead a summer project that creates a direct impact on daily operations.
- Assist your team with various ongoing tasks.
- Attend department meetings and share your ideas.
- Work with other departments on shared initiatives.
- Find ways to improve processes and document standard work.
- Participate in company training and internship program events.
- Present your final project results to Kemin Industries leadership.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management.
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Genuine interest in your field of study.
