About the role#
Kemin Industries is hiring a Technical Services Intern for the summer of 2027. This position offers students the chance to work on a project that impacts daily operations. You will receive mentorship and guidance throughout the summer while participating in networking and team building events.
What you'll do#
- Lead a summer project and present your results to company leadership.
- Assist your team with day to day tasks.
- Attend department meetings and share your ideas.
- Work with other departments on various initiatives.
- Find ways to improve processes and document standard work.
- Participate in the scheduled internship program trainings and events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Food Science or Bakery Science.
- Ability to work full time for 10 to 12 weeks between May and August.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Genuine interest in your field of study.
