About the role#
KEITH is hiring a Transportation Civil Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, paid position is based at our office in Miami, Florida. You will work on a range of private and public-sector projects while learning about core engineering processes, construction methods, and permitting requirements.
What you'll do#
- Perform CAD design and drafting tasks.
- Support transportation and roadway design, traffic analysis, and utility design.
- Conduct engineering calculations, data research, and analysis.
- Coordinate project activities with internal and external teams.
- Prepare materials for permit applications.
- Attend design and production meetings.
- Participate in site visits to observe project progress.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors degree program for Civil Engineering.
- A proactive approach and a strong drive to learn.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
