About the role#
KEITH is looking for a Transportation Civil Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work from our Pompano Beach, Florida office to support our planning, design, and construction projects for private and public-sector clients. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Learn fundamental engineering processes, construction methods, and permitting.
- Assist in the planning, design, and production of engineering projects.
- Perform CAD design and drafting tasks using MicroStation, ORD, and AutoCAD.
- Participate in design and production meetings to coordinate with other disciplines.
- Research, evaluate, and prepare materials for permit applications.
- Conduct site visits to support ongoing projects.
- Perform engineering calculations and data analysis.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
- You are a self-starter with a drive to learn and a positive attitude.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You can work effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
