About the role#
KEITH is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Port Saint Lucie. You will work on site development, stormwater, water and wastewater, paving, grading, and drainage projects for public and private clients. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Learn fundamental engineering processes, construction methods, and permitting.
- Participate in the planning, design, production, and construction of engineering projects.
- Prepare contract documents using AutoCAD.
- Perform engineering calculations and data research.
- Coordinate activities with internal and external disciplines.
- Attend and contribute to design and production meetings.
- Research, evaluate, and prepare material for permit applications.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
- A pro-active, enthusiastic, and self-starting attitude.
- A strong drive to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work with clients and colleagues at all levels.
