About the role#
The Justice Resource Institute is seeking a Master's Level Clinical Intern to join our Cape Cod Community Based Program. This role focuses on supporting children and families who have significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs. You will receive supervision and support from licensed staff to develop your clinical skills while working toward your degree completion.
What you'll do#
- Provide services directly in the communities where families live.
- Support children and families with behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Use strength-based and needs-driven approaches to care.
- Collaborate with a team to provide individualized services based on evidence-based practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's degree program or higher in psychology, social work, or a related mental health field.
- A clinical interest in working with children and adolescents.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with trauma informed treatment models is preferred.
- Ability to pass background and driving record checks.

- Location: Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time with rolling start dates.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
