About the role#
As a Research Analyst Intern in the Markets Equity Research team, you will support industry and company-specific analysis, build financial models, and contribute to written research reports. This is a part-time internship opportunity based in New York City.
What you'll do#
- Conduct industry analysis and provide company-specific coverage for the sector team.
- Perform core research on the industry and its companies.
- Model financials and forecasts.
- Write First Call notes, company updates, new reports, and thematic pieces.
- Communicate findings over the Hoot, at the Morning Meeting, and with clients.
What you'll need#
- Proven analytical skills, with experience in quantitative and data analysis.
- Exceptional writing skills.
- A genuine interest in financial markets, economic data, and trends.
- Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration.
