About the role#
Jordan's Furniture is seeking a Retail Sales Intern for a 10-week summer program starting June 7, 2027. You will join our Furnish Your Future development program to gain hands-on experience in the retail furniture industry. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role based in Avon, Massachusetts, with opportunities to visit various retail locations throughout New England.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the June Sales Training Cohort.
- Work with experienced commissioned sales consultants and the management team to learn the selling process.
- Use a consultative approach to help guests find merchandise that fits their needs and budget.
- Lead a project focused on your discoveries throughout the summer and how you produced sales.
- Perform other tasks and functions as assigned by the department.
What you'll need#
- Status as a rising college senior.
- Enrollment in a business management, business administration, or marketing degree program.
- An interest in sales and customer service.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to work and a willingness to learn new challenges.
- Strong communication skills.
- Prior customer service or retail sales experience is a plus.

- This internship is located in Avon, Massachusetts.
- The role is on-site and requires travel to various locations.
- Some weekend shifts are required.
- This is a paid position at $23.00 per hour.
