About the role#
This internship is a hands-on training program for students interested in short-form content creation and social media strategy. You will work alongside the Content Manager and Executive Assistant to gain experience in ideating, drafting, and assisting with content for one of the company's leading voices. This is a fixed-term learning experience for academic credit.
What you'll do#
- Ideate creative concepts and short-form content ideas for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Assist with filming and drafting edits in collaboration with the Content Manager.
- Manage content planning and scheduling using Rella.
- Maintain an organized library of posted and scheduled content.
- Support bulk recording sessions by assisting with setup, logistics, and drafting rough cuts.
- Pitch creative ideas to help shape storytelling and personal brand voice.
- Monitor basic social media analytics and draft insights to inform content strategy.
- Stay current on social media trends, viral formats, and media opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Passion for social media, content creation, and storytelling.
- Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, TikTok, or similar editing tools.
- Experience filming and editing short-form content.
- Ability to stay on top of trends and learn social media strategy.
- Strong organizational, proactive, and collaborative skills.
- Current enrollment in a university program requiring academic credit.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 31 to December 11).
- Modality: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
- Schedule: 20 to 30 hours per week, arranged around your class schedule.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship for academic credit.
