About the role#
The Content Production Internship is a hands-on training program designed for students interested in the end-to-end process of sports media production. This role provides exposure to live events, studio shows, podcasts, and run-and-gun content. Interns work under direct supervision to support flagship brands including Warehouse Games, Talkin' Yanks, Talkin' Baseball, We Got Ice, and Breakdowns. This is a fixed-term learning experience intended for academic credit.
What you'll do#
- Learn the content creation cycle by assisting production teams under supervision.
- Shadow producers on new and existing brands.
- Contribute creative ideas for engaging the community across social channels.
- Assist with research, show logistics, and analytics to support production workflows.
- Observe and assist the social team to understand how content aligns with brand strategy.
What you'll need#
- Strong familiarity with Jomboy Media content across all platforms.
- Experience or coursework using Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn across various production areas.
- A solid understanding of the Jomboy Media brand, voice, and audience.
- Ability to work as an organized, creative, and communicative team player.
- Must be able to receive school credit for this internship.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York (with work also occurring at the Warehouse space in Jersey City).
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 31 to December 11).
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: 20 to 30 hours per week, scheduled around university classes.
- Compensation: Unpaid.
