About the role#
Johnson & Johnson is hiring for the Athens Manufacturing Plant Co-Op program. This position offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, providing opportunities to build leadership, analytical, and project management skills. You will work on-site in Athens, Georgia, and must be able to commit to three rotating semesters or two 6-month rotations.
What you'll do#
- Support reliability and maintenance initiatives.
- Assist with Oxidized Regenerative Cellulose manufacturing for medical devices.
- Contribute to Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient manufacturing.
- Support operational excellence and manufacturing, science, and technology projects.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive project goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MBA in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- Completion of your freshman year of undergraduate studies.
- A minimum GPA of 2.8.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter mindset with a history of leadership or participation in campus or community activities.
Location & details#
- Location: Athens, Georgia.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: This is a paid position and is overtime eligible.
- Terms: Positions are available across terms from Fall 2026 through Spring 2028.
