About the role#
This is a part-time student position within the Supply Chain function at the John Deere Waterloo Works facility. The role is designed for students seeking practical experience in project management, sourcing, and data reporting within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain key team performance reports and data sources for internal and external communication.
- Assist with project management and sourcing tasks related to Continuous Improvement and Supplier Resiliency.
- Conduct department budget reconciliation.
- Complete additional projects as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. university or college.
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or MIS with a graduation date of May 2027 or later.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work 16-20 hours weekly during the academic year and 30-40 hours weekly during the summer semester.
- Experience with visual reporting tools like Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, or SharePoint, and SAP experience are considered assets.
