About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Griffin, Georgia. You will work on-site with the Yancey Engineered Solutions Assembly Team to learn trade skills and improve production operations.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside the assembly team to identify and seek efficiency gains.
- Review standardized label solutions and provide feedback on potential improvements.
- Train on the production kit review process to audit kits received from the supply chain team.
- Identify gaps and eliminate missing parts before they affect production.
- Evaluate the final assembly quality gate to find areas for improvement.
- Establish new processes to resolve repeat failures and assembly issues.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
- Ability to work under the supervision of a Yancey Engineered Solutions Industrial Engineer.
