About the role#
This is a year-round, part-time student position based in Waterloo, Iowa. The role is designed to support the engine lab team by assisting with technical documentation, hardware procurement, and product verification processes. You will work in parallel with your academic schedule, requiring a consistent on-site presence throughout the year.
What you'll do#
- Support the creation and management of purchase order requests for lab equipment.
- Assist with the design and procurement of test support hardware.
- Conduct end-of-test documentation, including visual inspections and photography.
- Participate in product verification and validation processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Civil, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Ability to work 16-20 hours per week during the academic year and 30-40 hours per week during the summer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and some experience with CAD design software.
- Ability to commute daily to the work location in Waterloo, Iowa.
