About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to the commercial real estate industry within the JLL Capital Markets group. You will work alongside analysts to support investment and acquisition projects. This role involves research, writing, and data analysis to help the team provide strategic advice to clients.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and write market research by obtaining and analyzing statistics, demographics, and traffic counts.
- Support valuation tasks for current and proposed listings using Argus and Excel.
- Review and summarize leases by preparing lease abstracts.
- Assist the team with the due diligence process for transactions.
- Help design marketing materials, such as teasers and offering memorandums, by creating charts and graphics.
- Gather data on rent rolls, demographics, and tenant profiles.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college or university junior, with a graduation date in Summer 2028.
- Permanent US work authorization.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- A detail-oriented and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant coursework in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Marketing.
