About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to business development within the commercial real estate industry. You will work with the Public Institutions Business Development Team to learn strategic processes, analytical problem-solving, and client engagement. You will work alongside real estate analysts, transaction professionals, and other associates to gain insight into the industry.
What you'll do#
- Track real estate opportunities across federal, state, local, K-12, higher education, and aerospace and defense sectors.
- Collect and analyze client data to support thought leadership initiatives.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Solutions Development, and Account Teams to execute strategies.
- Research key contacts for government agencies and perform prospect outreach.
- Coordinate meetings and participate in client engagement activities.
- Maintain Salesforce tracking systems and assist with marketing presentations, templates, and client deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree with 2-3 years of the program completed.
- Major in Business, Real Estate, Operations Management, Professional Sales, Marketing, Finance, or Accounting.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Permanent US work authorization is required. This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
