About the role#
We are looking for a mechanical engineering student to join our Forensic Engineering team. You will support equipment loss assessment matters, ranging from desktop reviews to complex technology claims. This role provides an opportunity to gain technical expertise in forensic engineering and equipment consulting.
What you'll do#
- Attend sites to conduct investigations, inspections, measurements, and photographic documentation.
- Collect and deliver designated substance samples to testing laboratories.
- Develop, model, detail, and annotate buildings and structural systems using company software.
- Assist with the design, review, and analysis of structural and building code-related systems.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project documentation.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a 3rd or 4th year mechanical engineering degree program.
- Strong mechanical aptitude to interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated time management skills.
- Proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office products.

- Location: Burlington, Ontario.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Employment type: Full-time intern.
- Compensation: $23.00 CAD per hour.
- Eligibility: Candidates must be able to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
