About the role#
This 12-week summer internship provides an introduction to a career in technical sales. You will work within the industrial machinery manufacturing sector, gaining exposure to HVAC equipment, building automation, and service operations. The program is designed to develop your technical, business, and communication skills while offering a look at our internal sales engineering processes.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate directly with sales account managers and customers.
- Learn the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
- Attend sales meetings, business functions, and both sales and service calls.
- Follow the end-to-end sales engineering project process.
- Serve as a daily point-of-contact for customers to assist in their decision-making process.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, Aerospace, Biomedical, Environmental, or Computer Engineering.
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate studies prior to the start of the internship.
- Proficiency in both French and English (oral and written).
- Legal right to work in Canada.
- A valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with no major traffic violations.
