Ivy Academy Student Support Assistant TMP

About the role#

The Ivy Academy Student Support Assistant serves as the primary day-to-day contact for students in the Ivy Academy, a cohort-based dual-enrollment program for high school students. Reporting to the ASAP Coordinator, this position focuses on supporting student engagement, program operations, and student success initiatives to help students earn college credentials while completing high school.

What you'll do#

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Ivy Academy students during cohort hours.
• Build positive relationships with students and foster a welcoming, inclusive environment.
• Assist students in navigating campus resources and support services.
• Support the planning and facilitation of workshops, college and career exploration opportunities, and student enrichment activities.
• Monitor student engagement, participation, and well-being, communicating concerns to the ASAP Coordinator.
• Assist with program operations, including student onboarding, maintaining attendance records, and tracking program outcomes.
• Support recruitment events, information sessions, and campus tours for prospective students and families.

What you'll need#

• Associate degree (Bachelor's degree or higher preferred).
• Experience working with high school students, youth programs, or in educational settings.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with diverse student populations.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated commitment to student success and creating supportive learning environments.

• Location: South Bend, Indiana.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Employment Type: Part-time.
• Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour.
• Term: Rolling.
