About the role#
The Ivy Academy Student Support Assistant serves as the primary daily contact for high school students participating in the Ivy Academy dual-enrollment program. This part-time role supports student engagement, program operations, and enrichment activities to help students earn college credentials while completing their high school education. You will work under the direction of the ASAP Coordinator to foster a welcoming environment and assist students with their academic and personal success.
What you'll do#
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Ivy Academy students during cohort hours.
- Build positive relationships with students and foster a supportive, inclusive environment.
- Assist students in navigating campus resources and connecting with support services.
- Monitor student engagement, participation, and well-being.
- Support workshops, guest speakers, and college exploration opportunities.
- Assist with the planning, logistics, and facilitation of student enrichment activities.
- Help with student onboarding, including collecting documentation and communicating program requirements.
- Maintain student records, attendance logs, and program documentation.
- Support recruitment events, information sessions, and campus tours.
What you'll need#
- Associate degree.
- Experience working with high school students, college students, or in youth programs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with diverse student populations.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a student-centered environment.
- Commitment to student success and creating supportive learning environments.

- Compensation: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.
