About the role#
This is a 9-week Summer Internship Program beginning in June 2027. You will work within the Investment Technology team, which supports critical middle and back-office applications and technology platforms. The team focuses on business analysis, engineering, and Agile delivery to maintain and evolve systems for investment operations, data management, and fund administration.
What you'll do#
- Learn the Invesco business model, growth strategy, and operational services.
- Participate in cultural, technology, and management training sessions.
- Shadow end-to-end technology solutions and attend meetings with the technology team.
- Build core capabilities in areas such as business analysis, application development, enterprise architecture, quality assurance, or infrastructure engineering.
- Contribute ideas to influence positive change and develop technical aptitude through project work.
- Develop professional skills and build a network across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program as a rising Junior graduating by summer 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Technical course work and strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Intermediate proficiency with Python, Java, React, Angular, SQL, or Power BI is preferred.
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical partners.
- Strong leadership, initiative, and an ambitious, creative demeanor.
- Ability to adapt to ambiguous situations and work well with diverse teams.
- All majors are welcome, with an emphasis on Computer Science, Engineering, and Information Technology.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer employment-based immigration sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Modality: This role is on-site. Employees are expected to work from the office at least four days each week.
- Employment: Full-time paid internship.
