About the role#
This summer internship offers an introduction to the investment management industry. You will join a cohort of students for a 9-week program in New York. The role focuses on fundamental equities, providing exposure to macro investment processes and performance metrics. You will receive mentorship and participate in professional development workshops throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Conduct company valuations using methodologies like discounted cash flow and comparable company analysis.
- Research industry trends, financial statements, and market data.
- Prepare presentations, summaries, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including portfolio managers, research, and risk teams.
- Attend team meetings to understand the top-down macro investment process.
- Complete projects within established timelines and present your findings to management.
- Seek regular feedback from team members and mentors to support your growth.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program as a rising junior, graduating by summer 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets and investments.
- Familiarity with Excel and financial statement analysis.
- Strong work ethic and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work in the New York office.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Note that sponsorship is not provided for this program.
- Preferred experience includes creative problem solving, analytical thinking, and prior internships in investment management.
