About the role#
The Operations Intern will support the daily administrative and logistical functions of the office. This role is designed for students or recent graduates interested in business administration, logistics, operations management, public health, or human resources. This is a paid, full-time internship for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Support the Administrative Assistant with reception materials, answering client questions, and directing requests to staff.
- Assist in liaising with office and equipment maintenance providers.
- Manage inventory, including incoming and outgoing items, recording client distributions, and stocking donations.
- Facilitate staff and client visits to the Contributions-In-Kind stock room.
- Perform data entry for inventory counts using Excel, Sortly, and other platforms.
- Conduct weekly vehicle inspections based on a set checklist.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate student, or within 12 months of graduation.
- Access to a personal vehicle or reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Availability during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Capacity to handle sensitive client information with strict confidentiality.
- Strong intercultural communication skills and the ability to work with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn new software.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written (Spanish language skills are a plus).
