    About the role#

    The Fall 2026 Administrative Intern will provide essential support to the Program Supervisor to enhance the efficient operation of service areas. This role involves managing calendars, coordinating logistics for workshops and community events, and maintaining accurate project documentation. Interns will play a key role in ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive refugee data while supporting the agency's reporting needs for stakeholders and funding organizations.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the planning and implementation of programs and activities for refugee clients.
    • Coordinate logistics and resources for workshops, community events, and service delivery.
    • Manage and maintain project documentation, including client records, reports, and meeting notes.
    • Prepare summaries and recommendations for program improvement.
    • Assist in preparing communication materials and draft or proofread internal and external correspondence.
    • Maintain databases and filing systems to ensure efficient information retrieval.
    • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
    • Perform data entry and analysis for program-related reports and grant applications.
    • Conduct research to support program development and client needs assessments.
    • Support general administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies and managing office resources.

    What you'll need#

    • Excellent communication and writing skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure within a diverse team.
    • A strong interest in international and refugee issues.
    • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
    • Preferred academic backgrounds include Human Resources, International Relations, Communications, Public Health, or Psychology.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Tallahassee, Florida.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Term: Fall 2026 (beginning the week of September 8, 2026).
    • Commitment: Minimum of 15 hours per week for 3 consecutive months.
    • Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
