About the role#
As a Software Development Graduate Intern, you will work with the Intel software team to build next-generation technologies. You will contribute to the design, development, testing, and optimization of system software across various layers, including firmware, drivers, operating systems, and AI frameworks. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while collaborating with engineers across software, hardware, and architecture disciplines.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, and optimize software solutions using C, C++, and Python.
- Support AI, machine learning, and deep learning initiatives.
- Develop and enhance workflows for MLOps and Deep Learning CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform software debugging, performance analysis, and optimization.
- Work with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, and Keras.
- Support development efforts involving Generative AI, Large Language Models, Diffusion Models, and Reinforcement Learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and technology innovation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master or PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or Mathematics.
- At least 3 months of academic or professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency in C, C++, or Python.
- Knowledge of machine learning or deep learning development.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with software development in Linux or Windows environments.
- Ability to work full-time for at least 6 months.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
