About the role#
This 10-week paid summer internship places you within the Hospital Operations team at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center. You will work alongside senior leaders to gain experience in operational projects, leadership development, and networking. The program is designed for undergraduate and graduate students to build skills through on-the-job training in a hospital environment.
What you'll do#
- Support department heads and leaders with daily projects and functions.
- Coordinate committees and meetings.
- Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and communications.
- Develop subject matter knowledge and skills related to hospital operations.
- Assist with the goals of your assigned work area.
- Receive regular guidance and training from your assigned leader.
What you'll need#
- A graduate or undergraduate degree related to health or business administration is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to operate standard office machines like copiers, fax machines, and calculators.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- A valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to INTEGRIS and its insurance carrier, as you may need to operate a personal vehicle.
- Prior experience is preferred.

- This position is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- The internship is a full-time, on-site role.
- The program runs from June 2027 through August 2027.
