About the role#
Integrated Cooling Solutions is looking for an Inside Sales Engineer Intern to join our team for Summer 2027. You will work alongside Inside and Outside Sales Engineers to support commercial HVAC projects. This role covers the project lifecycle, from initial design and equipment selection to estimating, proposals, and final delivery. You will gain exposure to our manufacturers and product lines while building a practical understanding of commercial HVAC applications and technical sales.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the sales team to support commercial HVAC projects.
- Review mechanical plans, specifications, and project schedules to understand design requirements.
- Assist in selecting HVAC equipment and preparing estimates, pricing, and proposals.
- Coordinate technical requirements, lead times, and availability with manufacturers.
- Prepare technical submittals, product data, and project documentation.
- Organize project information for order entry and track schedules or open follow-up items.
- Communicate with customers, contractors, and consulting engineers.
- Maintain accurate job files and project records.
- Help investigate technical concerns and support the team through to resolution.
- Participate in customer meetings and technical presentations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Ideally entering your junior or senior year by Summer 2027.
- An interest in commercial HVAC, building systems, estimating, or construction project management.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to interpret engineering drawings or mechanical plans.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A curious, dependable, and team-oriented approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with CAD, HVAC selection software, or MEP design is a plus.

- Location: Altamonte Springs, Florida.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- Physical requirements: You will work primarily in an office setting but may occasionally visit project sites. The role requires regular computer use and may involve lifting up to 25 pounds.
