About the role#
Integrated Cooling Solutions is hiring an Inside Sales Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. You will work with our equipment team to support commercial HVAC projects. This role involves the full lifecycle of a project, from initial design and equipment selection to estimating, proposals, and final delivery. You will gain experience in technical sales and project coordination while learning about our product lines and manufacturer partnerships.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Inside and Outside Sales Engineers to support commercial HVAC projects.
- Review mechanical plans, specifications, and project schedules to understand design requirements.
- Assist in selecting HVAC equipment based on performance needs and customer requirements.
- Prepare equipment estimates, pricing, quotations, and proposals.
- Coordinate technical requirements, pricing, and lead times with manufacturers and internal teams.
- Organize technical submittals, product data, and project documentation.
- Track project schedules, ship dates, and follow-up items.
- Communicate with customers, contractors, and consulting engineers.
- Maintain accurate job files and project records in company systems.
- Help investigate technical concerns and identify solutions.
- Participate in customer meetings and technical presentations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- Ideally entering your junior or senior year by Summer 2027.
- Interest in commercial HVAC, technical sales, estimating, or project management.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and mechanical plans.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with CAD, HVAC selection software, or MEP design is helpful.
- A curious, dependable, and team-oriented mindset.

- This role involves working in an office environment with occasional field visits. You may occasionally need to lift up to 25 pounds.
