About the role#
The Strategy & Business Development Intern supports the annual strategic planning process and mergers and acquisitions activity. You will work with the Senior Manager and Executive Director to screen target pipelines, build business cases, and assist with due diligence on active deals.
What you'll do#
- Prepare market and competitive environment analysis to support senior management decisions.
- Collaborate with business unit managers to define company strategy.
- Develop business cases for strategic initiatives, including product launches, footprint optimization, and entry strategies.
- Follow all company safety policies, participate in workplace inspections, and assist in the development of job safety analyses.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration or Finance program (BS or MBA).
- Demonstrated ability to apply strategic frameworks to problem solving.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort managing multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently.
- Prior experience in strategy, business development, or consulting is preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis and Excel modeling is a plus.
- Experience with aerospace components manufacturing is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee) due to ITAR requirements.
Location & details#
- Location: Irvine, California (On-site).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Term: November 2026 to August 2027.
- Compensation: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour.
