About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in Orchard Park, New York, for 40 hours per week from May through August. This role is open to Senior or Graduate level students pursuing degrees in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Finance.
What you'll do#
- Support strategic sourcing and supply chain projects, including supplier quality performance and vendor annual certifications.
- Create a risk assessment matrix to optimize purchasing objectives.
- Identify areas for improvement in purchase order management and assist with vendor rationalization.
- Support supplier quality management metrics.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including participating in workplace inspections, safety training, and the development of job safety analyses.
What you'll need#
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A collaborative mindset and the initiative to work well within a team.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with suppliers.
- You must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations.
