About the role#
We are looking for a UX Researcher to join our team for a 4-month internship during the Winter 2027 term. You will work alongside designers, product managers, and data analysts to shape the user experience across our business sectors.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize research opportunities.
- Plan and manage research activities, including user testing, customer interviews, surveys, diary studies, and competitive analysis.
- Synthesize data from various sources to provide actionable recommendations.
- Create user experience artifacts such as customer journeys, service blueprints, and user personas.
- Promote customer engagement across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree in UX, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, or Marketing Research.
- Previous experience in user research, service design, or market research, particularly with startups.
- Proficiency in usability practices and user-centered design.
- Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Axure, InVision, or Adobe Illustrator.
- Familiarity with research tools such as Survey Monkey, Optimal Workshop, or usertesting.com.
- Background in data or statistical analysis.
- Bilingualism in English and French is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings clearly.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently in ambiguous situations.
- Must be an active student during the internship or returning to school the following semester.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in either Montréal, Quebec, or Toronto, Ontario.
- You must be available for 35 hours per week from January 5 to April 23, 2027.
