About the role#
As an IT Technical Advisor I, you will join our team for a 4-month internship during the Winter 2027 term. You will work alongside experienced developers and architects to assess solutions and contribute to the technical direction of our projects. This role involves balancing research with practical application to support our business goals.
What you'll do#
- Analyze multi-system integrations to identify risks and propose solutions.
- Adapt to business needs and contribute to technical adjustments.
- Communicate complex solutions to various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to assess technical solutions.
- Assist in designing and developing IT architecture blueprints.
- Research current technology trends, best practices, and industry standards.
- Document architectural standards, guidelines, and reference architectures.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of software and hardware solutions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Systems Network.
- Available to work full-time (35 hours per week) for the Winter 2027 term.
- Must be an active student returning to school in Summer or Fall 2027.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Experience with Java, Python, and Front-end development (React).
- Experience with AI coding tools such as VS Code, Co-Pilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, or Cursor.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as a team player, adapt to new challenges, and maintain a commitment to learning.
- Self-reliance and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills.
