About the role#
We are looking for Data Scientist interns to join our growing team. You will work alongside a team of over 3,000 digital, data, and tech experts to develop solutions that support our business and customers. This is a full-time, four-month position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Translate complex, multi-source datasets into clear, business-ready insights and recommendations.
- Build production-quality analytical and machine learning code using Python or R.
- Contribute to applied research and development to advance AI-enabled products.
- Explore and evaluate methods including deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and geospatial analytics.
- Work with diverse data modalities such as geomatics, telematics, text, and images.
- Communicate findings through narratives, visualizations, and documentation to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
- Availability to work 35 hours per week during the Winter 2027 term.
- Status as an active student during the internship or returning to school in Summer or Fall 2027.
- Bilingualism in English and French is required for this location.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a self-reliant mindset.
- At least one previous internship in data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or deep learning is an asset.
