About the role#
We are looking for Data Scientist interns to join our team for the Winter 2027 term. You will work with a group of digital and data experts to help solve technical problems and create value through data solutions.
What you'll do#
- Turn complex data sets into clear conclusions and recommendations.
- Write high-quality code using standard packages and libraries to complete technical tasks.
- Work with diverse data types, such as geomatics, telematics, textual data, and image data.
- Apply technical skills in Python and NLP or LLM models.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
- Availability to work full-time, 35 hours per week, during the Winter 2027 term.
- Status as an active student who will return to school in Summer or Fall 2027.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A self-reliant approach and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Previous experience in data science, machine learning, or deep learning is an asset, as is experience in financial services.
