About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Kingwood, Texas. You will work in a rotation across various Human Resources teams, including Employee Relations, Compliance, Recruiting, Compensation, Performance Management, and Payroll Administration. The program is designed to provide hands-on experience with projects relevant to current business needs.
What you'll do#
- Complete work assignments by applying subject-matter knowledge and following company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to solve business problems and support project priorities.
- Communicate project progress and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Escalate issues or risks to management as appropriate.
- Observe and learn practical applications of liability management, productivity programs, and compensation development.
- Gain exposure to the interrelationship between HR and Payroll, including benefits management and payroll processing.
- Attend events to connect with other interns and associates.
- Provide feedback on the internship program to help with future improvements.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration or Human Resources.
- A GPA of 3.25 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience with customer relationship management software and the ability to learn new applications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Basic presentation skills.
