About the role#
We are looking for a Recruiting Specialist Intern for the summer of 2027. This position supports our recruiting team and offers insight into talent management. You will work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm. The role is paid at $18 per hour plus commission.
What you'll do#
- Source and screen candidates for entry-level roles.
- Build networks of candidates through college recruiting activities.
- Prepare candidates for interviews by sharing company and job details.
- Maintain relationships with applicants throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews.
- Perform reference checks and review results with hiring managers.
- Manage the recruiting pipeline and Talent Block.
- Partner with an Account Manager to identify candidate targets.
- Review resumes for skills and experience.
- Use an applicant tracking system to manage records.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.
- An extroverted, outgoing, and assertive personality.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen and share information clearly.
- Ability to organize work, set goals, and meet benchmarks.
- Persistence in hitting metrics and seeking personal growth.
- Reliability and a professional, trustworthy approach.
Location & details#
- Location: Bloomington, Minnesota.
- Modality: Hybrid. You will work in-office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and remotely on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
