About the role#
This part-time internship offers current bachelor students a chance to gain hands-on experience in business development. You will work alongside our team to learn the sales process from initial outreach through closing support. This role focuses on building communication skills and developing a foundation in consultative sales and client engagement.
What you'll do#
- Contact sales leads to set meetings for the executive team.
- Manage calling activities, notes, and follow-ups within HubSpot.
- Research open jobs to qualify categories and industries while identifying local decision makers.
- Act as a consultative partner by understanding customer business needs and offering solutions.
- Differentiate the company from competitors and handle objections.
- Submit regular activity and results reports to management.
- Meet or exceed daily goals for sales and job research.
- Collaborate with team members to accomplish shared results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor degree.
- Strong verbal, telephone, and written communication skills.
- Achievement-oriented mindset with a focus on metrics, persistence, and grit.
- Leadership skills and the ability to make decisions using sound reasoning.
- A competitive, team-focused, and humble attitude with a hunger to learn.

Location & details#
- Location: Bloomington, Minnesota.
- Modality: On-site, with 8-hour shifts on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $16 per hour plus uncapped sales commission.
