About the role#
Group Management Services, Inc. is hiring a Sales Intern for our Atlanta office. This is a paid, full-time position that offers hands-on experience in B2B sales. You will receive mentorship from Outside Sales Representatives and managers while gaining exposure to negotiation, objection handling, and closing techniques. This role provides a path toward consideration for a full-time Outside Sales Representative position upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Prospect, qualify leads, and build a sales pipeline.
- Make cold calls to generate new business leads.
- Prepare presentation materials for Outside Sales Representatives.
- Shadow sales meetings with prospective business owners.
- Research competitors and tools that support our CRM.
- Participate in departmental training to learn all aspects of the GMS business.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, or Entrepreneurship.
- You are competitive, coachable, and resilient.
Location & details#
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts.
- Compensation includes an hourly rate of $18-$20 plus performance incentives.
- Benefits include 401(k) matching, paid training, and mileage reimbursement.
