About the role#
Group Management Services is hiring a Sales Intern for our San Diego office. This paid, full-time internship provides hands-on experience in B2B sales. You will receive 1:1 mentorship from Outside Sales Reps and managers, along with structured training in negotiation and closing. Successful interns are considered for full-time Outside Sales Representative roles upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Prospect, qualify leads, and build a sales pipeline.
- Cold call to generate new business leads.
- Prepare presentation materials for Outside Sales Reps.
- Shadow sales meetings with prospective business owners.
- Research competitors and companies.
- Support CRM data management.
- Participate in departmental training.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, or Entrepreneurship.
- A competitive mindset.
- Ability to be coached and receive feedback.
- Resilience in a sales environment.
Location & details#
- Location: San Diego, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts.
- Compensation: $20 to $22 per hour plus performance incentives.
