About the role#
Group Management Services, Inc. is hiring a Sales Intern for our Cincinnati office. This paid, full-time internship offers hands-on experience in B2B sales. You will work directly with Outside Sales Reps and managers to learn the fundamentals of the business, including negotiation, objection handling, and closing. Successful interns may be considered for a full-time Outside Sales Representative role after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Prospect and qualify new business leads.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline.
- Conduct cold calling to generate new business opportunities.
- Prepare presentation materials for the Outside Sales team.
- Shadow sales meetings with prospective business owners.
- Research competitors and companies that support our CRM system.
- Participate in departmental training to understand our HR service offerings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Sales, Business, or Entrepreneurship.
- A competitive mindset and a willingness to learn.
- Resilience when handling rejection.
Location & details#
- Location: Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts.
- Compensation: $18 to $20 per hour, plus performance incentives.
