About the role#
As a Community Development Intern, you will work with the Community Development, Communications, and Events teams to support our outreach efforts. You will gain experience in event production, business administration, and strategic partnerships while helping to organize events that engage our members and the local community.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Community Development, Communications, and Events teams on various projects.
- Assist with the planning, organization, and execution of community events.
- Manage administrative tasks including updating spreadsheets, databases, and inventories.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration or Communications program.
- A valid Driver’s License and the ability to handle extensive local travel.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to lift 70-80 pounds, stand for extended periods, and operate basic office equipment.
- Eligibility for membership at ICCU.
