About the role#
As a Storage Product Management Intern, you will work within the IBM Infrastructure team. You will support the development of storage solutions by connecting technical capabilities with customer needs. This position involves working across various departments to help shape how we deliver infrastructure products.
What you'll do#
- Perform market and customer research to find new opportunities.
- Analyze competitors to understand the storage market.
- Collaborate with teams in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
- Evaluate user requirements to generate product insights.
- Translate technical features into clear user stories and product requirements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial).
- You must be returning to school after the internship.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI tools.
- Familiarity with enterprise storage technologies like block, file, and object storage.
- Exposure to containerization, AI/ML workloads, or cloud computing models.
- Experience through previous internships, academic research, or technical projects.
- Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
